What it does not do is lower the English bar. You still need the score, and for most applicants that means PTE Academic. The Mistake That Costs Adelaide Students a Retest
Chasing an overall score. Almost every requirement that matters — AHPRA registration, 79+ for maximum points, Proficient English — is set per section, not on the average. We have seen students post a strong overall and still miss the requirement because Writing came in three points short. Booking the PTE Test in Adelaide
Pearson's main Adelaide test centre is at 55 Grenfell Street in the CBD, with a second option at the Adelaide Test Centre on King William Street. Adelaide runs fewer PTE sittings per week than Sydney or Melbourne, so the gap between deciding and sitting can be longer than you expect.
