What we collect, in plain language
This summary explains our privacy practices in ordinary terms. It does not replace the full Privacy Policy on this page, which is the binding document — but if you want to know what happens to your details before reading the formal version, start here. Score Smart handles personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect and why
When you enquire or enrol we collect your name, email address, phone number and the exam you are preparing for. We use these to respond to you, deliver classes, and send information about your course. If you pay for a course, payment is processed by Stripe and we do not store your card details.
We also collect analytics about how the site is used — pages visited, how you arrived, your approximate location from your IP address, and your device and browser type. This is standard website measurement, used to understand which pages help people and which do not.
If you begin filling in a form and do not submit it, we may retain what you entered so we can follow up. If you would rather we did not, email hello@scoresmart.au and we will delete it.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email hello@scoresmart.au and we will respond within a reasonable period. You do not need to give a reason.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — most issues resolve faster that way. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which oversees privacy in Australia.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the business, such as our payment processor and email delivery, and only to the extent they need it.
