PTE Core coaching for Canadian immigration pathways
PTE Core is Pearson’s English test accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for economic immigration programs. Score Smart prepares you for the Core format with strategies that map to Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB).
Who should take PTE Core
Choose PTE Core if your primary goal is Canadian Express Entry, a Provincial Nominee Program, or other IRCC pathways that list PTE Core as an accepted test. If you need Australian PR or university admission, PTE Academic remains the better fit.
Core emphasises everyday and workplace English more than academic texts. You still need strong Speaking fluency, clear Writing, and accurate Listening under computer-based timing — skills we drill in live sessions and mock practice.

How Score Smart prepares you for PTE Core
